DELIBERATE PUBLICATION OF FAKE NEWS BY HASSAN OLAONIYE, PUBLISHER OF PEOPLESCONSCIENCE IS AN ABERRATION IN JOURNALISM PRACTICE

Prince Kabir Okegbenro has described the deliberate publication of fake news by Hassan Olaoniye, the publisher of peoplesconscience.com formerly known as Idere Update as an aberration in journalism practice and such sophist intentions and dissemination of falsehood to the people through the social media is a depravity against humanity to spread mischief, acrimony, crises, disease and squalor.

As a matter of fact, Hassan Olaoniye, peoplesconscience publisher just made us know that he has graduated from ordinary fake news to extreme fake news. The danger of extreme fake news is that it is difficult to differentiate the fake news from real news. This is because purveyors of extreme fake news like Hassan would take a story, be it a video or a photograph and make it look real, he said.

It is so unfortunate that Olaoniye who is a Student of mass communication had joined the bandwagon without put into consideration what they taught him in class.
