IN RESPONSE TO THE LETTER PUBLISHED BY ONE GABRIEL FROM AYETE, THE PSEUDO AND SELF ACCLAIMED PRESIDENT OF FIBSA – COMR. OJEWOLA PAUL

I write to make my stance known to the entire Federation of Ibarapa Students’ Association and the people of Ibarapa land as regards the open letter released by some set of people, who amongst them are :Ex-FIBSA president, Ex-FIBSA Senate President, purported and self acclaimed FIBSA Electoral Chairman, One Timileyin Gabriel and some indigenous Presidents who signed the open letter dated 21st of January, 2021 claiming that, I Ojewola Paul K, that am parading myself as the Federation Of Ibarapa Students Association (FIBSA).

To begin with, I want to say that the threat in the open letter amounts to nothing. I am not parading myself as FIBSA President but a legitimate president because I was duly elected as President of FIBSA

To clear the air and to let the entire Fibsabites and the people of Ibarapa land know what is happening presently in FIBSA that brought about having acclaimed factional Presidents in one Association was due to some conspiracy agenda by some cabals.

Those set of people’s wish to divide our prestigious association into two due to one aspect of the FIBSA CONSTITUTION,

It all started from the issue of delegates to be represented from a town at FIBSA Election . Rancor came up due to conflicting opinions. Ever since then, the issue has been unable to be resolved thereby resulting in the association of two factions and that gave birth to having FIBSA Conducting two separate elections.

On the 24th of December, 2021,the election that brought about my emergence as FIBSA president was conducted at Megras high school, Igboora by the following people with various security personnels in attendance; Dss, agro ranger, Amotekun by the recognised electoral body of Fibsa

1. Com. POPOOLA Ibrahim as CHAIRMAN. (Ibarapa Central).

2. Com. OLAJUWON Joy as SECRETARY. (Ibarapa east).

3. Com. ADESINA Musowwir as RETURNING OFFICER.(Ibarapa north).

4. Com. ADEGBEMI Raymond as P.R.O.(Ibarapa north).

5. Com. BADMUS Sodeeq as MEMBER. (Ibarapa east).

6. Com. OYERINDE Muideen , MEMBER. (Ibarapa central).

7. Com. Akintayo Victor , MEMBER. (Ibarapa East).

8. Com. ONIKOLA Blessing , MEMBER. (Ibarapa central).

9. Com. OKEDELE Suliat, MEMBER. (Ibarapa north).

It was a surprise to me when I saw one Dimeji Ogunjobi and Adelowo Soji involving themselves in the issue they caused as the then Fibsa President And Senate President Respectively. I will advise them to find a way to solve this case amicably instead of adding fuel to it.

And also, let me reiterate and sound it clearly to your hearing that, I am not a self-acclaimed president but a duly elected president.

Also note that, the threat in the article is baseless, ineffective and unenforceable, I am expecting you to carry out the threat in the article.

To the town presidents that signed the said letter, I will advise you to get clear knowledge and better understanding of what is happening in FIBSA. I see you all as newly elected Indigenous presidents and you have no prior understanding of what FIBSA is experiencing. I will advise you all to seek more details from your leaders.

To all the Stakeholders, who have good intentions to make Fibsa great and allow peace, love and unity to reign in Fibsa, also to make FIBSA function well like many Associations in Oyo state should not just sit and be looking but take action and find possible solutions to solve the crises in FIBSA before it gets too late.

Lastly, it should be noted that my intention was brought out of passion to serve FIBSA and make positive impacts to the Federation of Ibarapa students’ Association (FIBSA) and I am ready to strive hard to make that happen.
