BOT takes campaign to Tapa Township

BARR. OPEYEMI TIJANI, who recently declared his intention to contest for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under political party of All Progressive Congress (APC) come 2023 general elections, has again taken his familiarization campaign to Tapa Township on Sunday, 10th April, 2023.

While addressing APC party faithfuls at Tapa, the legal Icon said his passion for public service and the need for qualitative service delivery to people were behind his ambition, therefore promised to provide qualitative, discerning, visible, and result-oriented representation if elected.

“As a man who is passionate about public service, I am inspired by the courage and achievements of all the leaders who have charted the path of development for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency,” he said.

“I have decided to challenge myself on what to do for my constituency, the state, and the country with experience of attorney and lawmaking respectively.

“For over two decades, I have proved beyond reasonable doubt that I am someone to be trusted with public office as a lawyer for Ibarapa North local government area, I have shown accountability and transparency in service at local and beyond.”

He explains further, that most of the assignment been carried out by our legislators both at lower chamber/upper chamber were legal related matter. As a lawyer he believes he can deliver successfully if elected.

“Now, I believe it is high time for me to yield to the clarion call of my constituents to represent Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives come 2023.

“I will also leverage on the experience of the best hands in Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency to provide the desired representation in every sense of the word to my constituents,” he said.
