AKALA WAS A BLESSING TO US – IBARAPA CENTRAL MONARCHS
Ibarapa Central Local Government traditional rulers has described the demise of former Oyo State Governor, Otunba Alao Akala, as the fall of the grand oak in the forest of Nigeria political icons, saying his death was a great loss to Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Ibarapa Central Local Government traditional rulers through the Parmanent Chairman, Olu of Igboora, HRM Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, and made available to Asako Reporters correspondent, said Alao Akala was a quintessential political icon who injected technocratic wisdom into public service.
Kabiesi described the former governor as an effective administrator who wrote several chapters in development, peace and security in Oyo State during his tenure as the governor. It’s with the help of Akala we have Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora here in Ibarapa land, which has over the years brought tremendous blessings to the socioeconomic development of Ibarapa land as a whole, he concluded.
The kabiesis sympathies with the Oyo State Government, his immediate family and the entire people of Ogbomoso on the irreparable loss.
