THE OPPORTUNITY TO RIGHT THE WRONGS – IBARAPA STUDENTS CONGRATULATES RE-APPOINTED COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTHS

The leadership of Ibarapa Students Association has congratulated Mr Seun Fakorede on his re – appointment as Commissioner of Youths and Sports.

Comrade Ogunjobi Feranmi, in a statement he jointly signed with the Senate President, Mr Ogunlowo Soji and made available to ASAKO Reporters on Monday in Oyo State, described the appointment as well-deserved and urged him to use this second opportunity to right the wrongs he made during his first chance.

The letter reads in part

Dear Honourable Seun Fakorede,

Please accept our warm congratulations on your re-appointment as the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, and our best wishes for your success as you prepare to take up the responsibilities and challenges of your high office. As you embark upon your new responsibilities, the leadership of the union wish to assure you the outmost Support of Ibarapa Students of a continued friendship and patriotic Support.

Federation Of Ibarapa Students Association, (FIBSA) National Council have closely followed your first time in office, you did your best even though isn’t enough, you have always impressed us with your clear vision and ability to get the job done against the most formidable opposition. FIBSA hope you would have note all where lapses are in your last tenure and try to improvised where necessary. This is the best time to prove the doubting Thomas wrong that you still have alots in the packs. Our sincere advise to you is to be closer to the students and youth of our region, always remember Charity begins at home. You can have a Think-tank team and lots more to help your government. Be a youth friendly commissioner whose Office will be open all and sundry.

We look forward to working with you not only to develop closer relations between our region but also to concert our efforts in the cause of peace and the brotherhood of all peoples in Oyo State at large. We wish you the best in this new term of office. Make hale while the sun shines.
