PAUL OJEWOLA PREACHES UNITY IN FIBSA, SAYS PROVING SUPERIORITY WILL ONLY DRAG THE UNION INTO MUD
Executive President of National Association of Igangan Students, Com. Paul Ojewola on Tuesday said all would soon be well with FIBSA if only we embrace unity.
According to a statement by him and made available to the correspondent of Asako Reporters on Tuesday.
The President was quoted as saying, “I just want to implore everyone, let’s look forward towards the betterment of FIBSA and not otherwise because many are found complicating issues and causing mayhem over something we should try to solve amicably.
The statement reads in part;
LET’S PEACE, UNITY AND LOVE REIGN IN FIBSA AND IBARAPA AS A WHOLE
Aluta greetings to all patriotic students and all student leaders in the field of struggle, may our effort never be in futility.
According to Abraham Lincoln which said and I quote “divided we fall united we stand”. The house is Fibsa and every house that divides against itself will not stand.
To this effect, as the students union president of National Association of Igangan students, I write to seek for love, unity and peace about the lingering crises in Fibsa that we should all come together as a body in unity and love, allow peace to reign for the betterment of FIBSA and Ibarapa at large. We should by now understand what love, unity and peace do in an association, if the three words are found missing such an Association will surely experience setbacks anytime if care is not taken, I pray FIBSA continues to move forward.
As I said earlier, I am preaching for Tranquility in FIBSA and am appealing to the two sides of the union to work together as one. If we as youth of today can’t reconcile with one another, how do we organize ourselves in future?
FIBSA has been in existence for some years and I believe many of us have heard a lot about the impediment this great association has experienced over the years. We should as youths be ready to proffer solutions to these issues within ourselves instead of fighting or proving superiority over one another.
Fellow fibsabites, we have great roles to play on this matter by looking for a way forward towards the betterment of FIBSA and not otherwise as many are found complicating issues and causing mayhem over something I believe can be solved amicably without throwing stones at one another. I equally believe that the best way to settle any problem between groups or teams is to investigate the matter from both sides and call for resolution. By doing so , we should be able to arrive at a logical conclusion. This should be done as fast as possible for the sake of the upcoming election so that election will hold, if this continues I am afraid election might not hold and if FIBSA fail to conduct election, then Fibsa is rendered useless among the Associations in the state or if eventually election hold, it might be a kangaroo election and to avoid all these, the students in all the towns need to reach consensus over the lingering crises in FIBSA.
Once again, I stand for unity, love and peace in FIBSA and I beseech all sons and daughters of the soil to give room for peace
God bless the Seven towns in Ibarapa Land.
