IGBOORA MONARCH CELEBRATES 2021 WORLD TWINS FESTIVAL WITH PRAYERS

The Olu of Igboora land, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, Asoroolu Ayinla V, in Igboora, Ibarapa Central Local Government of Oyo State, Friday October 8, 2021 celebrate, with prayer at Igboora Central Mosque with all other traditional rulers in Igboora Community, 2021 edition of world twin festival.

Important Personalties who present at the prayer section include HRM Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, HRM Oba Jamiu BADMUS, HRH Apostle Olusanjo Ojo, Alh. Imam Yushau Alobalowo, Alhaja Adedigba amongst others.

Among various activities earlier laid down for the celebration was the Debate competition amongst secondary Schools in Igboora with Methodist Grammar School emerging as the first position on 6th of October.

According to the organisers, the competition was designed for twins students to encourage students to widen their Yoruba knowledge to enable them to compete favourably with their counterparts in the society.

“Students from 10 schools across Igboora participated in the competition. Each of the well-prepared teams give their points on “MULTIPLE BIRTH IS BETTER THAN SINGLE BIRTH” in Yoruba language and the students impressed the audience with their in-depth knowledge and performances.

“Cash Prices and other valuable gifts will be present to the winners in the Senior Category and Junior Category, respectively during the grand finale on 9th of October,” the organisers said.
