FORMER HOUSE LEADER, SOJI AKINTEYE APPOINTED CHIEF OF STAFF TO IBARAPA CENTRAL L. GOVT. BOSS

A former Legislative Leader of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Igboora, Rt. Hon. Soji Akinteye was on Friday, 10th December, 2021 sworn in as the Chief of Staff to the Ibarapa Central Local Government Boss, Hon. Adedoyin Adeoye.

The brief ceremony which was briefly attended by the Local Government functionaries and Party stalwarts was performed by the Local Government Boss, Hon. Adedoyin Adeoye at the Local Government chamber.

Hon. Soji Akinteye was born to the family of Late Pastor Joseph Adeyemi Akinteye of Onidelowo compound Iberekodo and Late princess Kosenat Akinteye nee Adejumo of Akonikoro royal family, Iberekodo Igboora, over 50 years ago. Attended Pembo Methodist pry school igboora. Igboora high school, FCE osiele (NCE) fine art double major, The polytechnic Ibadan (HND) Graphics and printing technology, NYSC in Bayelsa and Lagos.

Join politics fully in year 2000 and was a member of interim management committee in 2003 to 2004, contested election as a councillor in ward 4 in 2004 and won. Became the leader of the legislative house in kinly contested election for 29 months out of the 36 months stipulated tenure. Was the PRO of councillors forum in Oyo State. Was the official pioneer chief of staff (COS) in Ibarapa Central LG in 2007 to 2010, was Secretary to the LG (SLG) in January 2011 to May 29th 2011. Was the LG coordinator for the Election of formal president Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 all these in PDP. Was briefly in APC between 2019 to March 2021. He returned to PDP in April 2021.
