FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, AYETE, OYO STATE BILL PASSES SECOND READING

Federal lawmaker, Hon Dr Ajibola Muraina representing Ibarapa Central/ Ibarapa North Federal Constituency at the 9th House of Representatives, at the plenary of Wednesday November 24, 2021 moved a motion pursuant to 0rder 12 Rule 4 of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the SECOND READING OF A BILL FOR AN ACT TO ESTABLISH THE FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, AYETE, OYO STATE; AND OTHER RELATED MATTERS.

The motion was seconded by Hon. (Engr.) Johnson Abdul Ganiyu of Oshodi/Isolo 2 Federal Constituency, Lagos State.

It will be recalled that the bill was read for the first time at the plenary of the 9th House of Representatives on Thursday July 25, 2019.

The House unanimously passed the bill for the Second Reading and it was accordingly read a second time. Subsequently, the bill was referred to the Committee on Tertiary Education for further legislative action.

“This is another march forward in our collective quest to attract critical educational infrastructure and other infrastructure to our Constituency”, Hon Muraina enthused.
