BOT PERSONALITY LECTURE HELD IN GRANDSTYLE

BOT, a strong political movement founded by a House of Representatives Aspirant for Ibarapa Central and North federal constituency in the coming 2023 general elections, Bar. Opeyemi Tijani was on Saturday, 11th December, 2021 held at the Famadex Hotel, Idere.
The lecture was glamorously graced by Traditional rulers, Religious leaders, Students’ Leaders and Party faithfuls accross the Constituent.
The Guest Lecturer and respected University Don, Professor Akeem Olaniran, advised the nation’s youths to be more serious about having representatives at the seat of power in the next political dispensation by participating in the election and ensuring that the youths are well represented in the government.

He said, “I implore you (youths), don’t make the mistake of following those who failed you before; those who are pretending that they have nothing to do with the disaster that has overtaken Nigeria. Mobilise and get your representatives and stop bothering geriatrics.

At the lecture titled, ‘Youth participation in governance and community guide; a good practice guide, the university of Lagos don stated that “In order to respond to the needs of young people, and to guarantee that their basic human rights are recognized and enforced, young people’s active and meaningful participation in their societies and in democratic practices and processes is of crucial importance, he further stated that meaningful youth participation and leadership require that young people and young people-led organizations have opportunities and benefit from an enabling environment and relevant evidence based programmes and policies at all levels.
The program was graced by the Onidere of Idere, Oba Kingsley Aderoju, represented by the Jagun of Idere, Hon. Gbemileke Olawoore, former Caretaker Chairman, Ibarapa Central Local Government, Princess Mojibade Adetona, Dr. Razak Tijani, CMD, Olugbon Medical Center, Hon. Oketoobo and host of personalities accross the Constituent.
